Love, hope and healing: Transforming trauma with body-centred therapy

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”

- Mary Oliver

Healing from trauma is possible. Yes, even yours. And you don’t have to do it alone.

I deeply love the work I do - the work you are choosing to show up for. It takes bravery to face what happened to you. To recognize how you survived. To have the courage to hold and grieve what didn’t happen, what was missing that you needed and didn’t get at the time.

Trauma therapy is about undoing unbearable aloneness. I am here to bear witness to your suffering. I am here to help you hold, process, and integrate what needs to be integrated. To learn the skills you need to learn to get through this. I am here to hold the hope when it feels hard to hold.

The good news is, healing from trauma is possible. Yes, even yours. It takes commitment and hard work, but it is possible. And it’s worth it.

What I can help with:

  • Trauma therapy for single incidents (car accidents, natural disasters, workplace incidents, assaults, etc.). Therapy for PTSD.

  • Relational or developmental trauma from experiences of abuse, neglect, loss, separation.

  • Healing from childhood experiences of misattunement, parentification, nonrecognition, unpredictable or intrusive caregiving, complex PTSD, adoption.

  • Feelings of anxiety, depression, and low self-worth

  • Support with substance use

Together, we’ll move toward healing, emotional resilience, and healthier relationships. Each step of the process will be gentle, respectful, and attuned to your pace as we work to create lasting change from a place of deep compassion and understanding.

"What we cannot hold, we cannot process; what we cannot process, we cannot transform; what we cannot transform haunts us. It takes another mind to help us heal ours. It takes other minds and hearts to help us grow and re-grow the capacities we need to transform suffering."

— Joseph Bobrow
